OLD SPICE BARBERSHOP SEXTET

The Old Spice Barbershop is a real brick and mortar barbershop in Columbus, Ohio. We wanted to hire a barbershop quartet to celebrate and tell the world about its obsession with hair. But that wasn’t ridiculous enough. So we commissioned a Barbershop Sextet of perfectly coiffed heads of hair to sing an existential ode to our follicles. Not just some surface-level ode, but one that asks deep questions, like “Does my hair scream when I cut it?”

CAN MY HAIR FEEL?

Every time I go to cut my hair
I hear 10,000 tiny screams
The barber says it’s only in my mind
So then why do they haunt my dreams?
Can my hair feel?

Hair doesn’t have any feelings
At least that’s what the internet says
Everybody knows that
But if hair doesn’t have any feelings
Then why won’t the screams get out of my head?

They say hair doesn’t have any feelings
So I can have the time of my life
Making my hair look appealing
Letting all my hair friends shine
My hair can’t feel
